Shoes speak louder than words.
Everyone likes to look good. The balance of an outfit depends on the right pair of shoes. As a guy, picking the right shoes for an outfit can be tricky. Some shoes seem to be cool for every outfit, because it fits doesn’t mean it’s ideal.
Matching an outfit with the right footwear for any occasion is important. In this post, I picked out some basic outfits and tried to match them with the appropriate footwear.
A jean outfit is mostly casual and simple. The right shoes to wear would be lace-ups like sneakers, high-tops, moccasins or desert boots.
Shorts are relaxed, mostly for summer, so you need to keep things cool. You can pair it with boat shoes, sneakers, plimsolls or espadrilles. For a simpler look, you can pair with a Birkenstock sandals.
For casual chinos, depending on the occasion, you can go for a boat shoe, loafers, worker boots, Chelsea boots or classic sneakers.
A native attire can go with loafers or sandals. Depending on persons, either the loafers or the sandals would be a great pick. Personally, I would go with loafers with tassels for any native attire I wear.
SUITS AND DRESS TROUSERS:
For me that’s one of the great indulgences in life – a hand-tailored suit, and a great pair of handmade shoes.

Suits and dress trousers are formal. They are mostly worn for corporate events, dinner, weddings, which means your shoe game has to be on. A suit or a dress trouser looks good with monk straps, brogue oxfords or derby shoes. For a casual dinner or date without a tie, loafers would be a good pick.
