Lemiza is a minimalist. She’s the kind who always has her feet to the ground, literally. She mostly wears flat shoes, many of which are great substitutes for heels, if you ask us, and usually adorns her wrist with a single Fossil timepiece she’s owned since the age of 16.
As a Digital Content Creator and student, who has been blogging for almost three years, her hobby of sharing her style and inspiration on fashion has now become full-time job. While running collaborations with the likes of UGG Australia and FRENDS, a fashionable electronic accessories brand, she never compromises on her aesthetics which favor comfortable and suitable items. “Classic style” is what she calls it.
We reached out to her to share more on this covetable style of hers, while dishing out on her style influences, favorite places to shop and her top style rules.
Describe your style in three words
My personal style evolves around classic elegance and pure minimalism, though I do like to play with prints from time to time.
What would you say is your ultimate go-to comfortable look?
I’m a big fan of sneakers so my ultimate go-to comfortable look would be: A pair of white sneakers with a comfortable pants and a white blouse and some accessories.
What are your most important fashion accessories to have?
I think accessories really make an outfit stands out and my most important fashion accessories would be without debut a timepiece. I never leave the house without wearing a timepiece.
How has your creative path [as a blogger] influenced your personal style?
In Rotterdam, the Netherlands the culture of modern and quality is extremely present. We have a great architecture and modern buildings so obviously being simple and elegant has always been a rule for me.
You live in Rotterdam. Has your environment influenced your personal style or how you put an outfit together?
I created my personal style by discovering myself, the real me. And my environment has partially contributed to that.
What fashion and/beauty items are currently on your wishlist?
I’m not so into beauty, I’m more focused on fashion and to be honest I never create a wishlist for beauty products. Is it a shame for a woman? At the moment they’re three items that I would love to have in my closet right now: Gucci mid-heel pump, Larsson & Jennings timepiece, and Gucci shoulder bag
Your favourite places to shop and why?
I am definitely a big lover of online shopping. In my opinion I think we don’t have a big diversity of shops in the Netherlands especially when it comes to Scandinavian brands. It’s always nice to be able to find some exclusive pieces on the web. Now on a daily basis, I am a big sucker for Zara. They always have ‘’the’’ piece that I am looking for, and I don’t have to search for hours until I spot something I love.
What is the one item in your wardrobe that you love the most?
My fossil timepiece. It’s a gift from my father when a turn 16 years old. So it’s very precious for me.
When it comes to style, what’s most important to you: comfort, beauty or innovation?
Definitely comfort however, I think innovation is important as well.
Who is/are your fashion icon?
I look up to classic beauties, such as Grace Kelly or Audrey Hepburn, in terms of style, but I also love more modern and sophisticated looks that Ashley Olsen, Olivia Palermo, and Elin Kling pull off perfectly.
Your go-to places for style inspiration:
Just walking around the city and see the beauty of it, it inspiring me very much, but I like to do some online research as well and Pinterest is my favorite website.
