Street Style: 7 Cool Looks from AFWN 2016

With fashion week comes the freedom to express your style in the most comfortable or sophisticated way possible. This wasn’t any different at the African Fashion Week Nigeria 2016 and while we might not have been able to capture everyone present, here are some of the street style looks that we consider to be cool from the week.

We love the cow girl look as the hat and the boots gave the look all the edge it needs

Denim skirts seem to be coming back. Paired with the off shoulder trend and the Dapmod shades makes this a cool weekend look.

Rocking that Agbada trend in aso-oke with a basic white collared shirt got him on our cameras.

Jumpsuits in whatever colour never goes out of style but in this lemon green, we are summer ready.

Creative Director of O’Saunders not only stole our hearts on the runway but even on the red carpet as we are drooling over this hand painted oversized shirt.

Take a shift clue and stay comfortable….. shift dresses are the way to go!

Kimonos remain one of the stylish favourites for the ladies and in prints, way too cool!

She got the shades right with the kimono, that bag and there is something about those boots…. yes, we know what it is- perfect for the rains!

Why stick with just a regular cullote or say a jumpsuit or a playsuit? Keep it in the cullotes family but make it an overall. Now we need a name for this style!
