Sartorial Thursday by Mai Atafo at South Africa Men’s Week 2016

Nigerian designer, Mai Atafo,closed the South Africa Men’s Week (SAMW) 2016 a few days back. The week showcased the SS17 collections of a number of designers across Africa who make men’s wear. We all know that when it comes to getting that stylish and classic look, Mai Atafo is definitely on our priority list which was why we looked out for his collection.

Describing the collection on his Instagram page, Mai Atafo says, “Sartorial Thursday is what you get when you use your high quality suiting fabric, clean tailoring, removing canvas, lining abd padding to give a softer structure. Sartorial Thursday is a mix of traditional Dashiki, buba and Kaftan or their elements with European cuts and Silhouettes all sewn with the best suiting fabric. Sartorial Thursday can be dressed down or dressed up as casual or formal”.
