Hate it or love it, natural hair is a trend that has come to stay. Slowly but surely, more women are taking the bold step and doing the BC (big chop). Here at STYLVO, we have compiled a list of seven women we totally have a natural hair crush on. Their rich, full and lustrous natural hair that makes us go all shades of green with envy. Whether it’s a pompadour, a fro-hawk or a simple teeny weeny afro (TWA). These ladies are sure making us consider a BC too.

TV girl Cynthia Kamalu of Ebonylife is one naturalista we love. We absolutely love the versatility of her hair styles, from pompadours to braids, up do’s and even threading, Cynthia gives us major hair style vibes.


We simply adore the simplicity of Ghanaian International supermodel Victoria Michaels hairstyles. Whether it’s for a shoot or an event, Victoria effortlessly rocks each style well.

The sister duo, Photographer and Vlogger, Yagazie and writer Akwaeke are one of our major hair crushes. Their style seems effortless and laid back. With rich, full and thick hair that seems to go on for days, their hair is mostly styled in its natural beautiful fro state.

South African Singer, Nandi Mngoma is the queen of the TWA. Her signature look is all shades of cute. Even when it’s a bit grown out on in a quiff, Nandi still looks every bit the diva that she is.
